From December 22, 2023, the new season of ginger produced in China has completed and the tip has healed, and can begin to process the high quality air-dried ginger. As of today, January 24, 2024, our company
(LL-foods) has shipped more than 20 containers of air-dried ginger to Europe, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Italy. Others are air-dried ginger with 200 grams, 250 grams or more, 10 empty kilograms, 12.5 kilograms, and air-dried ginger to the Middle East and Iran, with a packaging of 4 kilograms. More than 40 containers of fresh ginger have been shipped, and the quality is in good condition after arrival, which fully confirms the reliable quality of the new ginger in the 2023 season.
In addition to general ginger, our company can also provide customers with organic ginger, which depends on the specific requirements of customers. Of course, organic ginger has a higher planting cost, and the price is relatively higher than that of general ginger. But organic ginger also has its special market and consumers. We have special planting bases for organic ginger, including Yunnan in China, and our Shandong base Anqiu Weifang, with a planting area of more than 1000 mu. These bases provide organic ginger for the high-end market, and more to meet our company's continuous year-round delivery needs.
We have strict planting and quality control standards for ginger production and processing. In the process, the use of fertilizers, pesticide residue indicators, specifications, packaging requirements and inspection standards will meet the relevant requirements of different import countries. Coupled with the lower price and better quality of Chinese ginger this year, it is expected that the ginger market trend will be better this year. However, due to the current Red Sea crisis, the sea freight has doubled, increasing the cost of goods. In particular, the sea freight of ginger to Europe has increased by 10 days, which is a test for the quality assurance of ginger.
LL-foods ginger categories include fresh ginger, air-dried ginger and salted ginger. The main export markets are Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Americas, as well as garlic, pomelo, chestnut, mushroom, as well as ready-to-eat sweet corn bars, sweet corn cans and other non-food categories. Our business covers the whole world.
